1. When do rental periods start and end?
Weekends start on Friday and end on Sunday. Weekdays start on Monday and end on Thursday or Full weeks start on Monday and ends on Sunday.
2. What about meals and drinks whilst on board?
There are many restaurants and nightclubs on the waters edge or in surrounding localities. Don't forget to bring your own food and drinks too. WATER is a must. We have coolers, cofee pots, blenders, etc. Are these on each houseboat or can they be rented for extra charge.
3. What do I need to bring with me?
Bed Linens, Pillow Cases, Towels, Food, Bottled Drinking Water, Camera, Clothing, Jam Box, Beach Towels, Paper Towels, Napkins, Lounge Chairs, VCR Movies, Cards, Games, Bathing Suits, Suntan Lotion, Fishing Equipment, and a sense of adventure and fun!
4. What about the weather?
We have no control over the weather. The climate on Smith Mountain Lake is generally good but there are occasional storms.
5. What about incidental day to day expenses?
Fuel and Oil are the responsibility on the renter and usually run around $125 for a three day rental period. Consumption also varies with generator usage.
6. Are pets allowed?
No.
